Default Replacing R & P Sterring Gear
On my 1986 convert. the steering r&p is leaking and I need to replace it. How big a project is it? Are there any step by step directions? It looks like you jack the car up on stands, remove the wheels, disconnect basic items and slide the grear out the left side. CXomments please.

Could just be an o-ring on the fluid hose. Where is the leak?

If you've ever done any other rack, you won't have any problem. Its handy to have an extra set of hands to snake it out once you get everything disconnected.
