removing lt1 water pump drive?

Default removing lt1 water pump drive?
Does anyone know if there is a way to pull the water pump drive out of an lt1 block without using the Kent Moore tool? Is there a more common puller that can be used or another way to get it out. Thanks.

The water pump drive is lightly pressed in. If you have the intake off, tap it forward. If not, lock a pair of Vice-Grips on the shaft and tap it forward.

When I removed mine, I went to the Chevy dealer and made a deal. I bought the tool to remove it and then returned it for a refund. Trick is, they kinda knew me as I go there all the time.
