What is this?
I have been suspecting a vacuum leak for some time but could not find one. I took my car, an 89 heavily modded, down off the ramps and then found this on the floor under the car. It must have dislodged as the car was tweeking getting it down. The location was left side rear of engine. I have a pencil pointing at a broken nipple. Any help as to what this is and original location would be a great help.

You can get one at any auto parts store. On a L98 the location is drivers side of dizzy the bottom line is for A/C vent control the middle is cruise control and the top is where you get vacuum from the plenum. The A/C line is a PITA to find behinde dizzy small hard plastic line taped into main loom.

I would NOT get one from a parts store. They are crap. I had one, and a few months later I pulled a line off it, and the plastic piece broke off.
Get one from the dealer. It is cheaper anyways than the parts store. And looks to be a better design.
