I am about to change the oil in my 93 6spd tranny, I am wondering how do you get the new oil (bought the Amsoil) in the fill hole? Do you use a fluid transfer pump? If so any suggestions on what kind, where to get one. Any help or other suggestions appreciated. PS I know to remove the fill plug (often a bear to get out) before the drain plug. Thanks
first time i did it i took a 3 foot tube and ran it up through the engine bay, and had someone pour it into a funnel as i sat by the tranny waiting for it to overflow. was a little messy and took forever for the thick fluid to run down the tube, so next i tried a large syringe with a short tube on the end. took me a little while but no mess at all.
