Default Delteq pros...cons

I truely would like to hear from anyone that has installed this system. I would dearly like to junk the opti but it seems I will still rely on the opti for something. Someone please explain b4 I spend $700.00.
Thanks to all.

Pro:
bypasses a potential opti problem, coolant on the unit.

Cons:
They are out of business, parts are getting hard to find.

WOW, I did not know that. IT has been years since I looked at them.

I have put the LTCC system on my wife's car ('94 C4), and it is now working fine. With this system, the PCM still gets a timing/position signal from the Opti, put no high voltage courses through it.

That is handled by LS1 coils (one per cylinder).

I thought about doing the LTCC set up for a while but in my opinion, if you are going to do coil on/over plug like the LS motors, you might as well go all the way with these guys:

http://www.eficonnection.com/ - see the "About 24x LT1/LT4" link at top left.

Would like to find out someone who has done it though. Basically, it converts your LT1 electronics to LS electronics including the LS PCM which is FAR more advanced than the LT1 PCM.

For $1200, I will keep the opti. If you safe gaurd the WP and seal the opti, it should last a very long time.
I have written many times how to protect the opti and so have many other people, now if you want to rev high, delteq is the way to go.

Eficonnection does not make a kit for LT1 vette's, just f-bodies or so their website says, I emailed them and they said to use the universal kit and basically good luck.

I have had the Delteq for several years and many miles with no problems but it\f it goes may go to the Eficonnection If the system works on the F-body It will work on my car since I fabed my own brackets anyway because of my billet valve covers.

When my opti goes again I'm putting on the eficonnection system.
Hope that isn't for a long time though.

As far as I know, at least as far as their kit goes, wouldn't matter if Vette or Fbody.

-edit- Hmmm thought about it more, guess it would be a problem with the stock gauges and CCM . . . duhhhhh. But not a problem for me since I ripped all that out anyway!
