Default Seat nut torque specs?

Hi just a quick question!

can someone please inform me of the seat (track to floor) nut torque specs?

also the (track to seat) bolt specs!
on a 90 c4

Do people really torque seat bolts?? Really?? I just put them in and tighten them down....WW

The factory nuts are jam nuts so trying to torque them would not give a proper reading. You don't want to go too tight as jam nuts will easily strip the threads on the studs.

you can't properly torque lock nuts that are used, so just tighten them with a standard length 3/8 ratchet, and don't get them too tight.

Seat bolts should be torqued when the car is in the sun and the motor warm. Do it after checking the horn bracket mounting bolts.

well i don't know, i just thought that they should be done up correctly, i mean i want them to be safe!

Anyway i read that other seats are around 18ft lb so i will do that!

If your in an accident thats bad enough that your seats come out I don't think it will matter what you torqued them at, but I can't knock someone for doing something the right way....WW
