94 6 Speed - Replace Shifter Boot
I have a 94 6-Speed and the lower shifter boot is cracked (the rubber one under the leather one). I found a replacement online and before buying, I am trying to find out how easy it is to pull and replace.
I have the console trim off, do I just take out the 4 nuts and pull out or do I need to remove the whole console to get at? The rubber just looks like it is tucked under the console, so I am hoping it is as easy as taking out the nuts, pull out the boot, put in new one and tuck it in, and reassemble in reverse.
I am hoping to get a confirmation that it is just that easy.
