Cajun, the Flowmonster looks sturdier than the Ebay one that was suggested. I'm assuming the Flowmonster one needs some adapter pieces. Did you get the 2 1/2" or the 3"?

If you're referring to my post rest assured that it is plenty study/strong enough. It's heavy gauge steel and should last for quite some time. The Flowmaster appears to be throttled down on the ends. RacerX700cc's is the same diameter all the way through, same Dia. as the stock system. This X was designed to replace the resonator. I highly recommend it.

Thanks Weav. Looks like the X pipe is an inexpensive mod for a little bit more growl. I like that RacerX700cc's x pipe (the Ebay link you provided, right?) is made to fit. Is the install for his x pipe something I can handle myself if I get the ends expanded or is it worth a few bucks to take it to the local muffler shop?

I had my main mechanic do mine and weld it in but I don't see why it couldn't be done with band clamps. But, by the time you buy 4 clamps @ 12.00-14.00 a piece and then pay to have the ends expanded you might as well have had it done by a shop. Just my .02.

My muffler guy told me to get the 3" and He fabricated the adapter pieces.I can tell this was not the first one He's done. It's really a nice piece of work, Well made. And I do feel a SOTP increase, seems to pull harder in the upper RPM range.
I plan on putting it on Youtube & the Forum by this Monday (My Day Off).I'm changing my Trans & Differential oils Sunday. I'll try and get some pictures of the installation/fabrication for you guys.
