Hey Will.
Like we said before, it's not a bad job and take your time. I got mine from a NAPA dlr and bought Spicer u-joints. Get the ones with the grease fitting on the end caps and not in the trunion. (the +) this allows for easier access to the fittings. you will be able to grease them as normal maintance as you will not want to do this job again for a while.

Toms differentials sells a really good set of U joints as well. They work really well if you have lots of mods. Lots of good results on here with them for high HP cars.

I too am looking for joints that can take lots of power+slicks.

There you go, two drag racers using the same parts. Between the two of us, over 500 passes on these and still holding up.

Brute Force versus Spicer.
I would not recoomend Brute Force for anything other than a door stop or paper weight.
When they go, they take the half shaft with them so it is more costly than just a new u-joint.

Bought mine at NAPA as well. Pretty cheap and not too difficult. Hope you have a large vice to work with and the proper ujoint puller. I broke a 6" c clamp trying to get them out and bent an 8". Get a real clamp for doing this type of work to save some headache. :seeya

I bought the biggest vice that Home Depot carried. Using two socket, one larger inside diameter than the outside diameter of the u-joint cap, and one the same outside diameter. Place one on each side of the installed u-joint and compress. Pull the one cap off when it is fully compressed and slide a socket on where the cap was, use one with a smaller OD than the original cap. Put the larger socket on the other end, compress. This will get the u-joint off. Getting them back on is easier, but you use a similar process.

Is there a how to guide for changing them? I haven't ever done it. I do have a very large shop clamp though :D
