Removing Front Bumper

For those that have removed the bumper, do you have to take the hood off? I think I can get the bolts without removing it but it will be a pain. Any good tips or tricks?

No need to remove the hood. Use an open end wrench on the top bolts, it is much easier than removing the hood. Just make sure you remove all of the bolts and go slow so you do not hurt the bumber cover.

Put blue painters tape or something like that on the front portion of your hood to protect it from that accidental wrench slip.

Removing the top bumper cover bolts is not hard at all.

Just protect the front of the hood with some tape as xole mentioned and you'll have the bolts removed in about 15 minutes.
