It started as a fuel injector problem and need for intake intake gasket replacement and somehow became a serious power producing upgrade. First let me say that I was a bit naive to the extent of modification and creativity needed to maintain as much of the original equipment (emissions) as possible. In order to move one thing, two others needed to be moved.

Oh yeah, this thing pulls and pulls, through the orange and into the red. She revs faster to 5200 then she did to 4500 before. I couldn't believe it when I looked down to shift at 5200, with it feeling like there was still some mucho buttocks left.
Still needs some fine tuning, timing (new distributor without using a timing light yet, a very close guess though) and fuel adjustments to bring it all together.
Of course we are having our third wet day in 6 months here so all out acceleration has not been tested. Murphy and his laws can kiss my glutes.
