Maf?
I picked up a used Vortech super charger!!! he had it on a 71 camaro with the computer to control the fuel injection but he had a piece of pipe welded in where the MAF goes??? Could this mean the chip is already set up this way?? Do i need to cut it out and put the MAF back into the system? I'm going to start the install in a week or two!!!!

The previous owner was probably running speed density and eliminated the MAF.
You did not mention if you are going run your stock computer or if you are going to run the system standalone with its own computer.
If you are going to use the stock vette computer, you will reuse your existing MAF sensor and will have to reprogram fuel tables accordingly for all of the extra air.
