If the valve won't open, then it shouldn't effect anything.

What year and did you pull codes?
Did you check vacuum lines for leaks?

hello again lets see i have pulled fuel pump and changed sock replaced fuel filter replaced cap rotor coil wires plugs i have also replaced iac valve throttle positioner map sensor cleaned throttle body ran fuel pressure test (38 lbs at idle) i let it sit for 1/2 hour to see if injectors bleed down dropped to about 25-30 lbs (i would say that its ok) used a propane torch to check for air leaks (found none) also when you first start it it runs great but when the comp loops it starts runnin ragged i also smell a smell almost like old fuel i know this sounds crazy but would a temp sensor have this affect? also have thought about running some racing fuel in it to clean it out a bit im almost at wits end by the way this is a 90 modle L98 iculd sure use some help thanks for every ones input

O2 sensor? At this point you really need a scan tool to check the data.

Did you check vacuum lines, especially the FPR vacuum line, that includes the rubber boots?

Do not just check lines on intake, you have them all over the engine compartment?

Yes, a malfunctioning IAT sensor will cause serious problems since the computer depends on it's feed-back.

Paul already suggested your next move; a scan tool to look for anything operating out of range. Throwing more parts at the problem doesn't seem to be a winning plan.
