I'm at a crossroads here. I'm about to get seriously head over heels back into the BBC conversion. I'm not exactly which brackets will allow me to keep all my accessories under the stock hood. I need to mount my Alternator and PS pump only. Engine is a 427BBC with a Short Water Pump.

I know TONYDEE64 used a specific bracket set at first on his conversion, but he hasn't been online in months and i have no other way to contact him. I lost his other information long ago...

I don't know if any of the march et al. outboard mount kits will fit between the wheelwells...an inbound kit might put them too high...

i clearanced the steering rack in prep for a 1" Cog Drive conversion from Black Mountain Precision. That kit would also have a V-groove for PS pump. This will run me about 325 bucks not counting what i need in brackets or PS pump. Most of the march et al. brackets are relatively expensive and don't include the pulleys which i'd still need...and i haven't been able to locate a set of stock SWP brackets anywhere...

the car is far enough off the ground that i can reinstall the hood and crawl underneath to make measurements...so if i have do do it that way i will...but i figured there's more than a few people out there that might have some insight. I just need to keep the alternator between the wheelwells and leave room for the PS pump presumably on the driver's side...

my motor is long since between the fenders...if i sell off my hayabusa it'll be running this year and you'll have all the info you need

 

Also...i tried registering, i activated, and all of a sudden my account disappeared...it doesn't even exist anymore...like they declined me then deleted me...

perhaps one of the mods doesn't like me? oh well...with that kind of crap i don't need to be asking them anything...

 

Probably a PC mix up, the DC site was sold a few weeks ago.
