Default What do I need for datalogging?

I am looking to learn me some data logging skills for my 1990. I know I need an ALDL cable to go from the car to the laptop, and program such as Tuner Pro RT (or similar), and I would like to install a wideband O2 (I have a separate bung so the O2 will only be in during datalogging). What kind of calbe do I need to go from the O2 to the laptop? How does this stay in place during the datalogging drive? Do I just run it through the window or something to the laptop?

Sorry if these are stupid questions. Thanks for the help.

If you want to datalog the O2 to the laptop its a bit complicated. You have to make changes to the definition file, the the data will be read through the ALDL cable. I have not done that. I have been using a wideband that has memory capability and it logs independently. Moates has all the software and hardware you will need.
