Hi everyone I had this conversion chart I thought it would come in handy for some members

STANDARD METRIC CONVERSIONS

1/16 inches = 2 mm 1-5/16 inches = 33 mm

1/8 inches = 3 mm 1-3/8 inches = 35 mm

3/16 inches = 5 mm 1-7/16 inches = 37 mm

¼ inches = 6 mm 1-1/2 inches = 38 mm

5/16 inches = 8 mm 1-9/16 inches = 40 mm

3/8 inches = 10 mm 1-5/8 inches = 41 mm

7/16 inches = 11 mm 1-11/16 inches = 43 mm

½ inches = 13 mm 1-3/4 inches = 44 mm

9/16 inches = 14 mm 1-13/16 inches = 46 mm

5/8 inches = 16 mm 1-7/8 inches = 48 mm

11/16 inches = 17 mm 1-15/16 inches = 49 mm

¾ inches = 19 mm 2 inches = 51 mm

13/16 inches = 21 mm 2-1/16 inches = 52 mm

7/8 inches = 22 mm 2-1/8 inches = 54 mm

15/16 inches = 24 mm 2-3/16 inches = 56 mm

1 inch = 25 mm 2-1/4 inches = 57 mm

1-1/16 inches = 27 mm 2-5/16 inches = 59 mm

1-1/8 inches = 29 mm 2-3/8 inches = 60 mm

1-3/16 inches = 30 mm 2-7/16 inches = 62 mm

1-1/4 inches = 32 mm 2-1/2 inches = 64 mm

Good info! I usually just grab around for a socket that looks the same ... but this would definitely make it quicker.

I just wish there was some rhyme or reason to when they used metric and when they used standard bolts/nuts on Corvettes. I swear sometimes the same piece has both types on it.

Here is what important for mechanics throwing wrenches around like me:
sockets, wrenches.
They are not equal but close enough.
7mm=9/32"
8mm= 5/16
10mm=13/32 (rare socket size)
11mm=7/16
14mm=9/16
16mm=5/8
19mm=3/4
Memorize it or... keep your wrenches in order!
