1989 alternater
I have a 1989 coupe its been converted to a carb,it has the original alternater on it , I had it tested and its putting 14 volts with a bad diode I want to replace but cant decide to go with the factory specs of 105 or go with a 140
anybody have any thoughts

My 105 stocker was still good after 20 years. Some of the replacements are crap. I would rebuild the stock alt. (or have it it done). My local shop quoted $65 to rebuild mine.
