Default Quick Cam question!

I am wondering what a good cam would be to run in an 86, with the L98 motor. The car is an automatic also. If someone has the specs for a cam that would be bigger and would still work could you list them. Im looking for a meaner sounding engine and a little more power. Thanks

Why don't you go to Comp Cams website and download a free copy of their CamQuest program. Then using this program you can pick all the parameters that you have to live with, and get quite a few recommended cams. They will also show what changes have to be made, ie: prom, converter, gears, exhaust..etc., and if you have any future mods in mind you can see how the recommendation will work later. It's especially good for telling where the "low" RPM and "high" RPM band is.
