Default c6 wheels on a c4 is it possible?

What are the implications of fitting these wheels to an 87 corvette?

not sure but think the biggest you can go are the 18's and they are real tight....I have the spacers you will need to go up to the 17's or 18's unless you get aftermarket wheels with the correct offset..pm me...I'll sell you the spacers for half price of new 100 plus shipping

Get the backspacing and offset for the wheels you want, then check out...

http://www.joby.se/corvette/div/corvette_wheels/

It has a sizing chart at the bottom you can use to compare...

Anything other than 38mm offset is going to require spacers to sit right on a 84 - 87 car

Plenty of room.
C6 style 17"x 9.5" 56 mm offset, 18"x 10.5" with 54 mm offset. 275/40/17's and 295/35/18's

the 54mm offset works but are really hard on the hub bearings so I've been told...cuts their life in half and also give severe bumps more leverage to damage the bearing and also knock the rears alignment off.....I'm not a wrench ...but I trust the one who told me this with my life
