Default Vendor for H/D radiator for LT1?

Hey guys,
Awhile back there was a vendor who posted here that he had or could get the Griffin or Be Cool radiators for the LT1's at a good price. I may need to replace the one in my 94, and would like to do so with the Heavy Duty version. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks. :seeya

Dewitts reproductions, they are a supporting vendor.

I purchased the super heavy duty Griffin from Dewitt's.

Very high quality and it is huge.

Hope to install it today actually.

No Go,
This is the one I'm interested in also, I think. Does it just bolt right in, or do you have to modify anything?

I just got a custom build Griffen for my 1992 LT-1. In order to have it just slip in without any cutting, I got the 1" tubes instead of the 1 1/2" tubes. I have a pic of it some where.

Well haven't installed it yet...some difficulties with flywheel hardware...:(

I have looked at it pretty closely and see that it will not be a bolt in. The stock radiator is held in place by some rubber grommets at each corner. These will need to be enlarged where the fit on the radiator-an extra inch or so. That is not bad. I also notice that electric fan assembly meets up with the stock radiator fins...since this radiator is larger in width that assembly will need to be clearanced. I think it is doable with my trusty dremel...but will take awhile.

Still glad I went with the larger-cost enough money the extra for the big one is minor.

Maybe tomorrow I will get to the install.

That is what is nice about the two 1" rows. Just pull the old one out and drop the new one in. I got the info from someone here on the forum, just before I was going to order the 1 1/2" rows. Cooling should not be a problem. I am installing a new Condenser at the same time. Old one is kind of a mess from the lower intake. With my stock radiator the vette runs around 180-185 degrees and as low as 176 degrees in the winter, if you can call it a winter that we have in Northern Ca. It will be interesting to see not only the performance difference between a 1' and a 1 1/2" radiator and also how the fit is. I am having mine done on Thursday. I will let you know what it takes to drop the new one in.
