New Track Times
I finally got to take my car to make a couple of passes this past Friday. This is the first time at the track since the 3:07 to 3:73 gear swap, and the 52mm throttle body change. I didn't know every ricer in Houston was going to be at the track, so I only got to make two passes. The weather was horrible on top of that; the temp was 69 and the humidity was 95%, and misting rain off and on. Here are my runs:
Best ET before gear swap and Throttle Body Change
et streets w/3:07 gears
60' 1.735
330' 5.067
660' 7.848
660' mph 89.52
1320 12.237
1320' mph 110.53
run 1
street tires
60' 2.002
330' 5.366
660' et 8.145
660 88.36
1320'et 12.561
1320 112.47
run2
et streets
60' 1.638
330' 4.902
660'et 7.639
660' 89.40
1000' 10.021
1320'et 12.018
1320' 113.27
I still need to get my car on the dyno and do a dyno tune. I think with some decent weather and some additional tuning I think that I may see some 11's in the future. :seeya

Yes , the heads are stock other than matching the intake ports to the heads and touching the valves up. :yesnod:

If you had turned your head to the rear and sneezed, you would have been in "roll bar" territory.
