What doesn't work? C4 and C5 have the same bolt pattern, the Mid America "adapter" just bolts between the C5 wheel and C4 hub to correct for the offset difference.
I Got mine HERE, excellent quality, excellent everything !!!
I had Midamerica 3/4 , i had to sell them because those were made without
nut recess, and they fit with the 17" stock vette wheels but not with my Fikse FM5 set.
I bought a set of 1" from the vendor i posted above and they are just wonderful
Im running 1.25" on the fronts and 1" on the rears ...and it does not stick out at all
They are JUST PERFECT.
My FIKSE have C5 offsets...i went thru everything and the guy linked above has the best price and quality adapters
Get the ones im telling you
i won't steer you wrong !
Thank you very much for the info you have provided, it is exactly what was needed.
The Mid-America spacers don't work with the C5 wheels because of the wheel stud and lug nut protrusion from on the car. The studs and lugs need to be flush with the spacer in order to mount these wheels.
We're just going to use the 1" on all four corners for the time being and see how that works out.
You're welcome,its real frustrating...i experienced that
went to the tire shop with my Fikse wheels and tires ...to find out i couldn't install them !!!
When i bought the ones above, they worked like magic,i had to use 1.25 on the fronts thou ...hey some guys prefer hub-centric ones, the ones im pointing you are not,but ive been running them with no issues whatsoever...let us know the outcome !!!
Sammy
ps: you can always sell your Midamerica ones, those will work with 17" Stock c4 wheels (Sawblades,ZR1,88-89 Salad Shooters)
