1987 from the ground up.
It was burning oil, leaked gas, Paint chipping. And so much more. So it started with a "Hey, lets paint the damn thing."
So we sanded it down, Filled in the holes in the rear bumper from a wing the previous owner had
, removed the front emblem
, filled those holes, went over ALL the imprefections with body filler and such and primed it, now are finsihing up all the mechanical work before it gets some new paint. We were going to do Matte Black but its in the air still. Were not so sure about The matte black any more.Suggest a color?
***Pics of it sanded***

While Painting it we decided lets take the heads off and do the valve seals and do the head gaskets. The engine needs a GOOD cleaning and paint all the engine parts will be painted. Add a few horses, replace all the gaskets, then that turned into lets pull the whole engine out.

We need advice on several things tho.
1.) First while the engine is out we want to squeeze a few more horses in there. But we are on a budget. We definitely want to do a cam swap. But we're both really new to this, its our first time doing internal engine work, I'm only 20 and he's 17. He wants the cammed v8 sound but still have a stock driveablitly. Pretty much nothing to crazy. What is the best cam to go with, Any web links to the cams would be awesome!
2.) What about springs and rockers? Should we replace any of them? What should be replaced or up graded while we are in there?
3.) Any other suggestions would be great.
I will add more pics. but I forgot the camera and took the 2 engine out shots with my cell phone.

A cam with the profile of say the TPiS ZZ9 or LPE 211 will work well. Do some research, there are lots of cams that will work. Comp Cams has cams with similar profiles.
Lord knows I dont want to be reminded of her!
