Question about shock fitment
I've got an 88 vert w/Z52 suspension 17" wheels. The Bilstein catalog did not show what shock fits the rear, only std & Z51. Anyone gone through this before? I called Bilstein and got no immediate help guy is going to check back with me.

There should be a Bilstein "Sport" shock available for Z52 cars. The 88 model year is unique in that the shocks are apparently different for that year alone.
Contact VanSteel, a CF Supporting vendor. They should have the right Bilstein shock for your car.
If you go with Z51 shocks, the ride will be slightly firmer but the handling will improve. I would also replace the bushing in both sway bars at the same time. Use either standard rubber or polyurethane.
