Loose front end?
90 convertible just bought 50k miles - cherry.
Lots of underneath/front end rattling over small bumps. Steering is straight, solid feel in curves. Newer tires and Z-06 mags. Also noticed a metal on metal click at the instant I begin to move as I back out of my garage. I thought that I was lucky enough that it was the brake pads rattling around. That's not it. Still rattles when engaging the brakes over bumps.
Relatively compentent, done all kinds of work. Never on suspension. Been greasin' everything that moves for lots of years, never had a problem on any car. Any gurus out there?

I don't know of any particular part of the front that is prone to rattling more that any other. Just gotta dig in and start checking things.
The click sounds like it could be the infamous teflon washer at the rear wheel bearings. Use search, there are many threads on it.
