Torque Converter Question...
Do I have to rebuild my transmission in order to put in a new torque converter? Iam staying stock. I have an intermittent torque converter shudder and want it fixed but donÕt have $1200 + to do an overhaul on the transmission? I really donÕt want to spend money repairing something that does not need fixing...the tranny shifts fine....its just a torque converter shudder that happens if you press on the gas slowly after the converter has done its thing around 41mph or so or on the highway at like 70 (if you press the gas harder to engage a kickdown the problem is gone).....thanks for the help.
