Creaking Steering Wheel
I have a 96 w/ a creaking steering wheel. Don't feel any slop by if I turn the wheel one way & then the other it moves a littel the I hear/feel a creak/click. Any ideas?

It sounds similar to mine.
If I turn my steering wheel left and right, a small amount, I get a pop or click. I got one of my friends to help figure this one out. It seems like it is the forward most steering u-joint (coupler), as the noise stopped when we pulled up on it.
It is currently in the shop getting this resolved.
