Default Coolant leak on LT-1

I had the vette on the lift this morning eye-ing up my fuel filter change this w\e when I noticed a very small drip of coolant off the bottom of the bellhousing\flexplate. Are there any coolant lines above the rear of the engine that could be weeping?

There is a coolant crossover vent tube that goes from the rear of one cylinder head to the other.

Thanks,

Do they have O rings to seal the tube to the heads?

No, it's more like an A/C line gasket.

Thanks again. Are the lines accessible from the top?

Drivers side is easy to get to, but the passenger side is a PITA.

Be very careful, the bolts strip real easy.

Thanks, I'll take a good looksee when I'm doing the fuel filter this w\e. I had another thought that made me cringe. I'm praying it's not a freezeout plug...*gulps*

15 mm 6-point box-end wrench or socket is what you'll need to minimize the chance of damaging the heads of the banjo bolts.

Each banjo bolt calls for TWO washers.

I have also read of others being successful using copper washers for the banjo bolts.

Thanks guys,

I got the fuel filter off this afternoon. Now I have to p\u new O rings. You'd think they would pack those with the filter. Btw, for whomever does that job, clamp the fuel return line!! I removed both lines to speed the process up and it damn near syphoned my 1/4 tank dry.
