Blasted adjustable suspension!!
Here's the deal, one of the motors on one of my shocks has crapped out. My service guy says that they need to order in a new shock and a new motor to fix it. Here's the capper - it's gonna cost me over $1500 Canadian! I've just bought a house, so needless to say, I'm a little short on funds. I wouldn't mind the cost if it was for all four shocks, but this is just one. Anyhow, I'm just wondering if getting them rebuilt/refurbished is an option.

Sounds a little on the high side. You can always pull the adjustable shocks and install some cheap aftermarket shocks until you can have yours rebuild. Bilstein can rebuild them, but I don't know about the motors.
