Default TV Cable problem

Anyone know how to get the tv cable out of my 92's 700r4? i cant get it disconnected at the transmission end.

You should be able to wiggle it out and pull the cable far enough out to unhook it.

thats what i thought but i cant see a hook. could it be caught up in the boot for some reason?

You have to pull it out pretty far. If the other end of the cable is loose you may need to secure it so it doesn't move. When I did mine the cable was broken so I just pulled the cable housing off of the cable then pulled up on the cable and unhooked it. It wasn't fun but I got it done without pulling the pan.

Disconnect at the engine then pull the 8 mm bolt holding the housing then lift and the link it conects to will have a small "L" shaped bend in it slide it to the side and it will come out
