high idleing on 1989 corvette
Hi I have a 1989 corvette, It used to idle around 900 rpm. not to long ago I took the throttle body off and chem dipped it and rebuilt it, I also bought a new IAC valve and replaced it. Now when I start the car it will idle at 900 rpm like it used to but when I get it above 1400 rpm it will want to hang there until I rev the engine hard and make the butterfly valves snap back and then it will come back down, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!, could I have messed up on installing the IAC valve or on the plumbing with the Throttle body.
