Aluminum Polishing Question
I got a question for all you experienced aluminum polishers out there. I am polishing my runners and have completed all the grinding and sanding. I have a nice mirror finish after using a buffer and tripoli compound.
I have been told that I should use white rouge next on a fresh buffer wheel, as you should not mix compounds on the same wheel.
My question is what should I use to get all the tripoli residue off the runner before I start with white rouge. Should I use a ragsoaked with turpentine or alcohol or is there something better? What will desolve the tripoli?
