Will C5 wheels fit a C4
I'm from over in the C5 section and have a set of wheels for sale. I have somebody interested with a 1984 C4. Will base C5 wheels fit? 17*8.5 front and 18*9.5 rears. I'm sure somebody over here has done this and can tell me from experience if spacers are needed etc. Thanks.

They'll fit but not without some 1" spacers.

And yes all 4 because the front tires will rub at full lock on the inside fender skirts. The rear tires won't even mount up without these either because they hit the trailing or control arm brackets and bolts and the inner fender skirt.
