Default Easy computer repair.

I am repairing flat screen monitor and problem is blown capacitors.
The reason I am writing about it is because I remember reading instructions how to repair Mitsubishi 3000GT comps which have exactly same problem. A lot of different cars were mentioned there not sure about Corvettes.
So before throwing away and buying new ECM, take its cover off and look if you can find blown capacitors or some parts which look burned.
Search internet and youtube about capacitors.

Years ago I used to work with a guy that did circuit board repair down to the component level. This guy had a big nose and he used to sniff out the bad part by smelling the circuit board for burned components. He could fix almost anything.

Sometimes we make repairs harder than they need to be. Just find the bad component, replace it and move on.
