Default Rear Lower Shock mount info

Anybody know if the rear lower shock mount stud interchangeable for a 84-88 with a 88-96?

I am getting ready to buy the lower rear mounts or make my own.

Can someone give me the length of the stud from the mount face to the long end of the stud? for a 88-96?

My 1985 stud is 1.562" from the mount face to the end of the stud

My parts manual calls for the following:

84-87: Part Num. 14044582 and says DISCONTINUED

88-96: Part Num. 14105141

You're welcome

Thanks, I know they are discontinued, I am trying to find out the difference between the 84-88 and the 89-97

If the shock mount point and the hole in the knuckle are the same, I should be good to go

I may order this setup and I only want to know if the dimensions are close to the same

$223 shipped to the US

For a old timer I took a pic for you.
Late mount has approx 3/4" shoulder to locate shock further out for clearance because shock on late cars is vertical ; not angled in as on early cars.
You are also aware the early bottom mount is angled down to accomodate this ; not horizontal in the knuckle as on late cars

Rough tape measure length
Early 2 / 16"; mounting face to end of shock mount ( not including thread)
Late 2 7/8"

Didn't you already do the mod to mount the coilover on the early angled setup by using a offset top mount for coil clearance?

Yes, I moved the upper mount forward for clearance.

But the custom mount in the pic above would move the moment farther away for the knuckle and it would be on a down angle as well, I need to think about his some and figure out if the down angle matters

I can make my own lower and bring the down angle up to horizontal but I want to make sure that this is a good idea.
