WINALDL Data
I have been able to get winaldl to run using the free software and a USB to ALDL cable I bought. I have also been able to save the data. My problem is now reading the data as it is saved as raw data. My car is an 1985 so I am using the 10k resistor between A & B. I have the ECM set to type 1226870, am using COM3 and a Baud setting of 4800. The "Sensor Data" screen shows Raw and Converted numbers but when you use the data log the data is stored as a raw number. Anyone have conversion factors raw to converted?

Hi Bill! I have an 85 too. I been tryiing to get the answers to the same question for some time now. I still haven't. This is a great forum, but getting info or some sort of help on tuning an 85 with the 870 ECU is like playing the powerball lottery. I plan on up grading to a after maket system. Good luck!

The other factory option is to use a 165. The 165's are found in the 86-91 models. You'll need the harness, chip. As I stated in my last post I'm going with a after market system. IMO it offers a better option in tuning up grades.
