Default Uh oh, what broke?

Heard a scraping sound as I was pulling out of my driveway. Looked under the car and saw a copper tube that was bent over and scraping along the cement. Just a quick look and had no idea what it was or how long it had been this way. Jacked it up today and took the following pics. Starting at the tubing, then I saw a hole in my muffler with an empty hose clamp. Is this where the tubing is supposed to go. The other end leads up to something in the engine compartment that I also have no idea what that is for either. Any help from the cross fire gurus is highly appreciated. Is this something I can just go to autozone and order or do I need to go to an exhaust shop and have them make it? The Chilton's on my air cleaner box was useless. Thanks guys. Also, it's an 84.

Is that second picture your catalytic converter?
in the 80's the conventional wisdom of the manuf was to pump some air into the cat to help it light off.
Just need some high temp hose to replace the worn out pipe.
