Does anyone have a good suggestion for a true "wet look" wax or glaze? Something that will create a real deep clear shine with no haze to red paint. Cost is not a problem.
I really thought there would be a bunch of folks chanting "Zaino". I have never used the product but I have heard lots of good things about it.
i have been using mothers. It works great. I have always wanted to try Zaino, after all of the reviews I have heard.
You might want to try a polish before your wax. I think waxes are there to protect your paint, the polish is to help bring out a color.
I generally wash my car, bring the car in the garage and clay bar it, polish it, then wax it. I find that if your car has been out in the sun the heat will ruin your wax, creating the haze.

I use Zaino on my Lesabre, it's more of a PITA than it's worth. Are you talking OE paint or single stage or base/clear? Has it been wet sanded/buffed already or is it orange peeled? Is it water spotted?
no paste residue, no hard work, spray synthetic is the only way fly, try anything.... ya right, if paint is good and you have clayed it, it will shine and will be slick to the touch
That is an amazing finish for being Black. I swore off black cars years ago but damn, that is nice!
Thanks, I see you live in High Point, there are two vette shows this weekend. sat/chev dealer in kernersville and sunday Chev dealer in greensboro, both 10-2. Triadvette/ clubvette

Hmm, of course we have both the kids this weekend. Maybe the wife will let me sneak out for a while on Saturday.

A glaze then carnuba wax combination are exactly the results you're describing. I've probably detailed a few hundred cars & bikes with that combo and it's still my all time favorite. I like Meguiar's #7 show car glaze followed by #26 carnuba paste wax, but there are other good brands as well.
Zaino is nice stuff, but synthetics will give you more of a crisp reflective look, not a deep wet glow like a carnuba.
