Default just pulled some codes

ok on my way to work, the SES light went on and off a couple times so I just went and pulled codes 12 and 43. I looked them up but I have no idea what they mean. Can someone give me a hand with this.

The code 12 is normal, the code 43 is the Electronic Spark Control (ESC) Circuit. It means that you have an open circuit to your knock sensors, or a bad knock sensor, or a faulty ECM.
The check in my book says to turn the ignition on and disconnect both knock sensors, with a DVM to measure the voltage between the sensor connectors and ground. If you have 0 volts, you have a open circuit. If you have one at 0 Volts and one at 5 volts, you have a open in your 0 volt connector. If both are at 5 volts, you are supposed to measure the resistance of the knock sensor, the resistance should be between 3300 and 4500 ohms. If you do, you either have a bad connection or a faulty ECM. If you do not have the correct resistance, you have a bad knock sensor.
Good luck!

They are located on each side of the block below the exhaust manifolds. They are covered by a small metal guards that are removed by a 7/16" socket. Remove the 2 guards and squeeze the plastic electrical connectors over the knock sensors to free the wiring. Good Luck
