I'm not *as* impressed now..... but they are still EXCELLENT and impressive numbers and I would be happy with them any day but I would be a lot happier if they were at the wheels!
It had to have been lowered or the boost level on the charger isn't much...4-5 pounds. There is a Rippie LT1 383 C4 that has a ProCharger on it at E Town(i'd seen it run,and raced Him once) It consistently goes low 11's@123 or so. Adding to my MPH, the blower gives around 50 horse which isn't too shabby. I think this fellow tried higher boost and popped the head gaskets. As it is He mixes the fuel with some race gas.
Nice numbers...gotta love torque off idle. There was a white C4 at Bullish Racing (north NJ) on 3/8/02 wiht a super charger..etc on it - I believe he put down 427 to the wheels.
383 with blower!! :D JD, i thought you knew i had a blower! I'm boosting 4 lbs...clutch is shot when i went down to run...ran a saddddd 12.3 @107 i was so embarrassed!! I need a clutch!!! If i don't run low 11's when everything is right....i'm taking it off and getting NOS :eek:
