Default whats my hp ?

hey guys im new to the forum i own a 94 z07 vette , black on black six speed. over the winter i spent around $ 11,000 on it . the alluminum heads were ported and polished a big cam and 28 lb injecters . also all the rings and seals where replaced and the crank was balanced . i was wondering if any one had and idea what the hp should be it gas an slp cold air and a air foil and a flowmaster exhaust as well . thanks cw

im calling bullsh**, but id say about 900hp. that airfoil adds huge amounts of power when combined with flowmasters

The next time you lay down $11k to a shop for engine modifications, remind them that you expect at least some results from a chassis dyno. The chassis dyno is also the best place to dial in your computer to your specific engine.

Not enough details to make an accurate hp prediction, so I'll do it the fun way. The last big engine build I did was ~ $14,600 and I got 953 hp, so by simple math 11k/14.6k = .7534, muliply by 953, so by my math that means you should have 718 hp

see, the part you missed was that he had an airfoil. i doubt you installed one on that motor because if you had, you would be making a few hundred more hp, and only spent i think 25 dollars.

Are we sure he does not mean $11k for the purchase of the car + mods? That seems much more reasonable.

If you're maxing out those injectors, I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of 450 HP. Without more details, you could have had a 300 HP engine built or a who knows?

The black cars are faster. I would say at least 300 HP. If the 28 lb injectors are Bosch III's then at least 500 HP.

1991 TPI stock long block 113 heads
Custom HSR Intake
stock 48mm Throttle Body
CC502 cam 218/224 @.050/495/503 lift 112lsa
Bosch III 24# injectors and AFPR
Scorpion 1.5 roller rockers
3.07 rear gear ration
Automatic transmission
