Window Glass Crash..
Hey,to all...Heres my problem.My drivers side door window glass sounds as though its slamming inside the door half way or more down.When I get out of the car and close the door it sounds like the glass is damn near ready to shatter.Im aware of the bumpers inside the door.Is there supposed to be 2 or 4?I have only 2,that I could see.But it looks like theres an area in the center of the door for 1 or 2 more.Am I correct?Can anyone provide an exploded view of the drivers side door? Thanks.

Kinda sounds like your regulator or the nylon runners may be worn or ya have a loose bolt somewhere. Take the door panel off and look and see. If your window pads are adjusted right, it shouldnt rattle unless something is loose. My driver door did the same thing until I upgraded regulators and adjusted everything.

I won't say this is normal, what I will say is mine does the same thing, and I know a few other guys that have the same problem.. I make sure when I slam my door that the glass is either all way up, or all way down.Mine doesn't rattle when driving , it just rattles when I slam the door. I have replaced all my door pads and the outer window sweep and it still does the same thing. There are only suppose to be 2 pads per door..If you figure out how to fix it, post the answer because I can't figure it out...WW
