Default 84 owners -help me!

I have been trouble shooting my rebuilt steering rack problem and need someone with Z51 or Z52 to get in their car and verify the turns of the steering wheel lock to lock.
I belive that it should be 2, but want to confirm this before pulling and returning the rebuilt steering rack to NAPA. See my other post with the problem that I have.
Thanks, Glen

Mine's a Z51 and makes two turns lock to lock. Hopes this helps.

From what I've read-2 to 2 1/4 turns is z51 & 2 3/4 is base suspension

Thanks, I went to NAPA & told them that I used every resource to confirm the 2 turns, including other owners and they could see that mine would go less than 1 3/4 turns lock to lock.
No problem, they have ordered another to replace it...I just have to pull it, but as with everything doing it a second time is much easier.
Thanks again, Glen

Thanks, NAPA is ordering me a replacement.
My intent was to confirm that the 2 to 2.25 turns lock to lock in the specifications was actually the case in the real world.
Thanks for taking the time to check on this for me!
Glen

No prob with the help. I hope you get the steering rack replaced when you get it in so you can get that 84 on the road and cruise.

Maybe too late to be of help, but mine with the Z51 is 2 1/4 lock to lock.
