Headlight motor question
First of all, yes I have read the sticky.
I redid both sides over the weekend. Very easy to do! Installed the bushing kit. The left side works perfectly. The right side.....
What I found was the even after installing the bushing there is a lot of play in the right side. So much that the light will not close so that it is flush and it will still hang up going up and down.
I pulled it back apart last night. There is alot of play/slop in the motor itself. There is some in the linkage, but 90% of the play is in the motor. The headlight gear looked good.
Should I replace the gear? Anyone else experienced play in the motor? Do I just need to give up and replace the motor on the right side?
