Default Original Injectors

I'm getting ready to order new injectors from FIC and want them to look original. Bosch IIIs are yellow but Jon said he can make them black which is way cool.
Can someone verify the color of the original Bosch injectors for my '86?
I think I've seen blue ones for some years and although I suspect they are original I just want to double check. There are signs that the plenum has been removed over the years.

Unless the OEMs are a thin body injector, that will still look different. (Bosch III's have a thin body)

I'd still with you on wanting a different color than yellow though!

The Bosch III's will look different no matter what color as they are slimmer than the stockers. As far as color goes, the injectors Jon from FIC sent me for my 85 are a bluish grey. Not only are they slimmer, but they are shorter too requiring them to be installed directly into the intake and not the fuel rail eliminating the need for clips.

If you want injectors that look like the originals and fit the fuel rail properly you can get them from Racetronix. They are a forum vendor.

FYI the lucas injector that they sell is 60mm o ring to o ring. the oem in an 86 is 65mm. They are fat bodied and black. Still shorter but, the clips hold them in. If you want OEM we restore the originals for NCRS guys all the time. Including any striping. It only costs 20 each.
