Default Brake spindle duct mounts

Pretty easy project, here are some pix:

Small piece of 3" exhaust tube and some flat steel. I used the old stock head bolt washers under the bolts.

BTW is there any reason the wheel bearing bolts can't go in from the back? Putting them through the hole in the bearing flange is a PITA.

Check these out. They are almost small enuff to fit in the front air dam. I believe they will work.

I use these in my front air dam but I couldnt get the 3" hose close enough without the wheel rubbing it off.

Now I am going to put these in the bottom of the nose in front of the dam, and make some spindle ducts myself to route the hoses to.

You can see the ducts in the dam here.

I think I may copy Andrews design for the spindle ducts.

I have scoops in the air dam too but they are not the end mod that I'd like. I think they can be ripped off to easy for track use. I DO like the scoops in the nose. I've seen several nice examples of these. Here's a pic from one:

I was talking to Rudy about pressurizing the wheel well with air like the other duct. Also on the opposite side, a smaller overflow could be used. The stock tank there is ginormous!

What do you think of cooling the caliper instead of the rotor?

Rotor is far more important. The rotor is where the real heat is made from all the contact, and excessive heat warps, and wears down everything a lot quicker. It would be great to cool everything, but the rotors can be pretty sensitive. IMO

Yikes...I found some offset rectangular funnels at Autozone or wally-world; wherever, and painted them black. Like $1.99 a piece
