Default MSD 6AL and NOS?

Hey guys,
I have a MSD 6AL ignition box. A friend of mine has an old 88 GTA Trans Am with the L98 in it. He wants to borrow my 6AL, and I was wondering if you could use it with NOS, since it does the multipule spart thing and all. Any help or info would be great.

That box is a good box to use with NOS because you can have it take out timeing when you turn the NOS on.

The 6AL doesn't alter the timing unless you couple it with a seperate "box" (or buy the MSD6 BTM I think). It does accept rev-limiter "pills", though.

It's good to use with nitrous or anything else for that matter. I say, the stronger spark, the better, so long as your charging and spark systems are up to the challenge.

I use a MSD-6AL and a MSD Timing control box to retard the timing for Nitrous. Plugs gapped at .035".
