I am finishing up my LT1 build, I have ran into a snag while buttoning up the bottom end.
Seams the cheap *** "sealed power" oil pickup tube I got with my engine kit is the wrong style of pickup.
Does anybody know or have a part number for a .750" pickup tube and screen that properly fits in the stock pan?
Thanks!
I am looking at the 1992 parts breakdown, they show a .742 tube and a .62 tube and a different screen for each. The tube comes as part of the oil pump. There are 6 different oil pumps & screen combos depending on year: 1992-1996, LT-1. Oil Pump for a 1992: 12555284 Screen for .742 is 12550106.

Thanks for the part numbers ! The knuckle heads at napa weren't even close.
I have a Melling M155HV oil pump brand new and ready to roll , the pickup they gave me was wrong. It was a .750" unit but the angle of the dangle was not even close.
