I think it's time for new plugs and wires. Had a bad day with slow times. I ran 14.1 each time. After 3 runs I left feeling like somethings not right with my Vette. It just felt sluggish. My best was 13.7 last winter. It was sunny and 92 degrees today.
It was nice to see forum member John Marker smoke a C6 with his very stock looking C4. John was running 13.2s.
Unfortunately a C5 hit the wall doing major damage. The driver is OK.

If you ran a best of 13.7 in the winter , it would stand to reason that 14.1 is about where your car would run in the summer.
We have some bad months out in Arizona where its hot and humid and the tracks stays pretty empty. Racing with a DA of 4k plus feet just sucks.
The density altitude at Vette Magic yesterday at the first time run was 1900'. Late in the afternoon is was 2900'. Cars will slow down an average of one tenth per 1000' increase in da. My car ran 10.71 on the first time run and finished the afternoon with a 10.82.
