Default Headlight replacement choices?

Today I replaced my HP6054 headlights with H6054 sealed beam headlights. When I compared the two there was a huge difference in weight. I'm sure this will weaken the life of my headlight motors and gears, since one is plastic. Has anyone installed this kit in the link below, or one like it on there C4? Im curious if any wiring has to be tapped and spliced, or if its plug and play. If anyone has pics that would be awsome!

Try the plastic type and use a high intensity H4 Hella bulb. The plastic type is less than half the weight of the glass and a Hella H4 buld gives great brightness and NO additional modification on the wiring is needed.
